How are you connected?
With internet problems, the key is to find where the fault is: on one device, in the home or office network, or with the provider. The assistant guides you through these three checks in order.

- 1Another deviceCheck with a phone or another computer. If the internet works there, the problem is on the first device.
- 2Restart the routerUnplug the router for 30 seconds and plug it back in. Wait 2 minutes for it to fully boot.
- 3Wired connectionIf it works over cable but not over Wi-Fi, the problem is in the wireless network, not with the provider.
- 4Speed testRun a speed test and compare with your plan. A big difference is a reason to call the provider.

Why does it say I'm connected but there's no internet?
The device is connected to the router, but the router has no connection to the provider or DNS isn't working. Restarting the router and checking with the provider solve most cases.
