What is a technical co-founder?
A co-founder responsible for technology: architecture, development, infrastructure and the technical team. In the early stage they build the product, and later they lead the team and participate in investor conversations. In our model, EVI Solutions takes on that role, with a full team behind it.
Do I really not pay for development?
Correct. We don't charge for development. Instead of money, we receive equity in the company, so we're as motivated as you are: for the product to succeed.
How much equity do you ask for?
The share depends on the startup's stage, scope of work and team composition. We negotiate it individually, after the first meeting, with the goal of a fair split that motivates all founders.
How quickly do I get an answer?
Within 48 hours of sending your pitch, you'll get an answer on whether we join as technical co-founder and when we can start.
How is my idea protected?
We publicly commit that everything you share stays between us and is used only for evaluating and working on your project. This gives you an automatic NDA from our side, and we'll sign your NDA if you wish.
What if I don't have a company yet?
We can start immediately. The contract commits us to take equity when the company is founded.
In which country can the company be registered?
We accept legal forms in the US, Serbia and the European Union. We prepare the contract, tailored to the chosen jurisdiction.
Who owns the code and the product?
The company. The code, design and all intellectual property belong to the startup, and we are co-owners through equity, like the other founders.
